"Lacrosse has taught me things no classroom could. Playing defense means you are the last line before the goal, there is no hiding, no passing the responsibility to someone else. It taught me how to trust my teammates completely while still owning my individual role on the field. That balance between relying on others and being self-sufficient is something I carry into everything I do. The field is where I learned what it actually means to be part of something bigger than yourself."

Rhea is one of a rare group of students who brings the same intensity to the classroom as she does to the field. Competing at the varsity level across three seasons while maintaining Principal's Honor Roll standing, pursuing dual enrollment at the University of Florida, earning industry certifications, and leading a nonprofit requires the kind of discipline and time management that lacrosse helped build. For Rhea, athletics and academics are not competing priorities, they are the same habit.
